PGX wants to offer their support to those with diabetes.

With November being Diabetes Awareness Month, it seemed like a good time to explore the relationship between natural medicine and diabetes. Specifically, supplements, such as the Natural Factors WellBetX line, offer support with stabilizing blood sugar, promoting weight loss, and providing benefits for diabetes. Therefore, the combination of WellBetX and PGX, WellBetX PGX with Mulberry, provides an optimal solution

PGX can help level out the "blood sugar rollercoaster" that can contribute to obesity, diabetes and pre-diabetic conditions. It also provides a whole new approach to using dietary polysaccarides, which are exceptionally effective at lessening hunger, reducing cholesterol levels, promoting regularity and healthy blood sugar balance. For the diabetic, the purpose of aking a few capsules of PGX before each meal is to regulate the blood sugar fluctuations that are so damaging, providing the foundaion of a natural blood sugar management method that will put control back in your own hands.

Learn more about Natural Factrs WellBetX and the six ways that natural medicine can positively affect those with diabetes.

Note to diabetics: We want to stress that when WellBetX supplements are used to improve blood sugar control, insulin and/or drug dosages will be altered. Work closely with your prescribing health care practitioner.

We Love to Hear From You!

We get letters and email telling us how you use PGX and what you're using it for but every once in a while we get a letter like this that makes us especially happy. We hope you enjoy this message from L.S. in Abbotsford, BC.

All my husband and I can say is what a remarkable product you have created and if anyone is doubtful we have proof that it truly does work.

For five years my husband was not only on Lipitor but also on Fenofibrate to lower his cholesterol and his triglycerides. The lowest the doctors could get them was 6.0 for his cholesterol and 3.5 for his triglycerides. Then the doctor I work for told me to tell him to go on PGX and that would also help him to lose weight. Well he hasn't started to lose a lot of weight yet, but it's only been two months but his cholesterol has dropped to 4.8 and his triglycerides to 1.8. His HDL and his LDL are all normal and the doctors are astonished, of course they say it can't be the PGX. However, he has gone off his medications and is continuing with PGX, his weight has shifted and we all know that, that means the weight is getting ready to start dropping off.

He says he'd gladly be a spokesman for you and is truly amazed and excited about this product. I have started to use it as well as my cholesterol is a little high and I am going to use it in conjunction with my mulberry for my blood sugars. Keep up the good work. Hats off to an amazing product.

When it's hot and humid outside, who really wants to cook?

Here's a breakfast recipe that I rely on that is super easy and requires NO cooking. Summer is here and I'm melting during the nights and the last thing I really want to do is cook when I get up. Thinking about even pulling out a frying pan makes me want to run for the pool. You can whip these ingredients all together the night before and it sets overnight. The crisp and cold oats are ready and waiting for you to eat in morning.

What is also great about this recipe is you can customize it in so many ways. Add in different fresh fruit each morning and it's a whole different breakfast meal! I like to make it into a breakfast parfait. I layer the overnight oats with fresh fruit and honey drizzled on top. My favourite tip I've learned is to add PGX singles. This helps me feel full long into the morning. Make sure to add the PGX into the oats right before you are going to eat them. I've heard others are using the PGX Satisfast (Protein Powder) in the oats just like the PGX singles I added. This gives them an extra dose of protein in their meal. Perfect for building those strong muscles and keeping you full longer! I think I'm going to try the Chocolate PGX Satisfast in my next batch.

Peanut Butter Crunch Cookie Time!

Celebrate peanut butter and this fabulous day with PGX and a delicious recipe!

Happy National Peanut Butter Day! Yes. It's true. It's National Peanut Butter Day and to celebrate this I've found a healthy and delicious peanut butter recipe! But first, a few facts about peanut butter!

Peanuts are native to the tropics of the Americas and were first mashed into a paste by the Aztecs hundreds of years ago. Over time the paste developed into the creamier peanut spreads we buy today.

In 1884, a patent was issued to Montreal native, Marcellus Gilmore Edson, for the finished product of the process of milling roasted peanuts between heated surfaces until they reached a semi-fluid state - the initial steps to making our modern peanut butter. It's hard to say for sure who invented peanut butter but suffice it to say, it was a group effort between the Aztecs, Edson, George Washington Carver (often credited) and Dr. Ambrose Straub and his peanut butter making machine!

And now, on to that recipe! Taste of Home's Peanut Butter Crunch Cookies are quick, easy to make and are only 56 calories and diabetic friendly!

Who would have thought a cookie could be all that?! One downside to this cookie is its trace amount of fiber. Add PGX into the mix and you've got an even healthier, "fiberful" treat!

Enjoy!
