Week 1
Getting Ramped Up: Welcome to PGX Week 1
Feeling full on smaller portions can take a little getting used to. Your first week is spent ramping up to the proper PGX level. You ease into this easy program. At first, you take a small amount of PGX with 2 meals a day as you add a little exercise. You increase PGX as your body adapts to the increased fiber. Remember to take a self-photo!

Week 2
Hitting Your Stride: Continuing PGX Week 2
Pick up The PGX Program right where you left off, ramping up your PGX intake until you reach your final comfort level. Our general recommendation is 2.5–5.0 g of PGX with every meal by the end of week 2. If you feel any discomfort along the way, simply back off your PGX intake a little, then increase more slowly. Simple!

Week 3+
Settling Into The Program: Week 3 and Beyond
By week 3 you should've hit your stride. Literally. Because, you now try for 10,000 pedometer steps, plus 15 minutes of cardio exercise, each day along with 2.5-5.0 g of PGX at every meal. Let the results begin! But, remember not to over-reward yourself after exercise. And every 6 weeks, take another selfie to track your progress!

Here's some great, quick advice to help with the PGX experience.

After taking PGX always drink an extra glass of water (12-16oz or 375-500ml).

PGX absorbs water, which means it doesn’t "dissolve" as you might expect. Mix it in a smoothie or take with moist food such as yogurt or soup.

It may take up to 2 weeks for your body to become fully used to taking PGX. If you feel discomfort, reduce the amount slightly.

Always consult your physician before starting any type of exercise or weight loss venture.

Slow weight loss is healthy weight loss! And in many cases, reducing size and improving health is more important than losing weight.

If you take medications, it works best to take those 1 hour before or 2-3 hours after taking PGX. Be sure to consult your physician.

You should aim to get between 2.5-5 g of PGX per meal either as granules, capsules or in great tasting shakes!

Get exercise, but don’t overdo it. If you do too much exercise you may be likely to "over-reward" yourself with unhealthy choices.
